The Dune is a sustainable mixed-use development planned on 420 undeveloped acres in the Coachella Valley. Framed by the San Bernardino Mountains to the north and the San Jacinto Mountains to the south, its tight-knit fabric of streets, blocks, and parks are inspired by the sundrenched cities of the American Southwest, South Spain, and North Morocco. A centrally located commercial street leads to a hilltop citadel, where a boutique hotel anchors an intimate neighborhood surrounding a park. The citadel connects to a series of six small neighborhood oases that are set in a richly landscaped open space network.
